As Founder and Executive Director of The Neighbor Project, Guzman leads efforts that expand homeownership in the Aurora community. In 2018, he founded The Neighbor Project to address wealth gaps and expand financial empowerment. Guzman’s work focuses on addressing racial disparities in homeownership, helping communities of color build long term wealth.

Chief Equity and Operating Officer

Former educator and first generation college graduate, David Blancas, leads efforts that help low income families build wealth. Originally from Mexico, Blancas faced barriers due to his immigration status. His lived experience drives his passion for helping others overcome barriers. At The Neighbor Project, he works by creating pathways for individuals and families to achieve financial stability.
